I graduated from Elon University in 2009. While at Elon, I TA'ed General Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, and Organic Chemistry. Following my time at Elon, I received a PhD in Integrated Toxicology from Duke University. During my time at Duke, I completed a certificate in college teaching as well as received the distinction of completing the Preparing Future Faculty Program (year long teaching apprenticeship with my former mentor at Elon University).
